Conveners Message
This is the Ninth year that these Awards in e-Governance are being presented. The Computer Society of India (CSI) has instituted these awards for recognizing the contributions made in the field of e-Governance in the country and Nihilent Technologies have been sponsoring from inception.
The basic objective of these awards has been to recognize and appreciate the successful efforts at the Project / District / Department and at the State Level in achieving good governance using ICT. The Award winners will be felicitated at the 46th CSI National Annual Convention during 1st -3rd Dec 2011 to be held in Ahmedabad. It has been the endeavor of the Selection Committee members and other senior professionals involved in the evaluation process to bring to the forefront good e-Governance initiatives of Government organizations.
As part of these awards, another major value addition has been towards knowledge sharing by documenting and bringing out a publication, for the benefit of ICT community. This year also, our endeavor is to bring out the publication coinciding with the Awards presentation event.
It is our honour to seek nominations for this year's prestigious Awards. Hope this year too, all the good initiatives - Projects of various Departments, Districts, State level Undertakings/ Corporations across the States/Central Government, which made a success are nominated for due recognition. We on behalf of the Selection Committee seek support of all Stake holders in the Government to bring a large number of nominations in all the categories for this year's awards. The window for on-line registration and nominations is open between 1st May 2011 and the extended date of 31st Aug 2011.
Looking forward to enthusiastic response.
