	The CSI Nihilent e-Governance Awards have been monitoring and evaluating the efforts of government departments at Center, States and District levels in achieving good governance using ICT. 	Having been closely associated with the Awards process, I see a lot of value is being attached to these awards by Government establishments/ agencies. It is important that e-Governance projects, particularly G2C type, have to make a significant impact to the citizens while providing the services. But it is also important to present the case, the learning to the other members of the e-Gov community, so that every one gets benefitted.
